According to Gawker.com, "A cleaning woman at an Italian gallery "accidentally threw away thousands of dollars of art by New York modernist Paul Branca when she mistook his crumpled newspaper, cardboard, and cookie installation scattered across the floor for garden-variety trash."

On Sunday a man walked into a Florida museum and destroyed one of Ai Wei Wei's artworks in protest. I am asking my students if this is a proper way to protest and what should be the punishment. Also what would they do if they were and artist and felt spited by the museum.

My Art III students love the work of Australian Artist Loui Jover. I knew nothing about him so went online to start my research. Saatchi Art has a great article on him.
